 Proactive Counselling
Proactive counseling is identifying our pain separate from our story and separate from the people and events we tend to blame. This is achieved through breath work, a variety of meditation techniques, intention setting, thought and action recording. Separating the emotional pain from 'our story' is a step towards ending a cycle of suffering. Included in this method is instruction and monitoring of meditation. Meditations vary for individuals.
Cost:
$80 for 1 hr session

"My partner and I began counseling with Deedee about a year ago. The method she uses requires work. I have found it as rewarding as it is difficult. For this reason it is important to have a gifted coach to guide one through. My partner and I have benefited greatly from working with Deedee. She gently supported us individually through weekly installments of exercises for an initial 3 month period. It is hard to train the mind to act in a different way, but with Deedee's encouragement and guidance and a commitment to devote 15 minutes a day it easily became a doable practice. The beauty of the work is that it is independent of the other and can be used in any relationship, especially the relationship with the self."
